The first blog. I've never written a blog before so, I don't really know what to write or even where to begin. I guess I'll just give it a go and see where it takes me.
I'm on the verge of beginning a 'new chapter' in my relatively young life. Last month I had the first real life changing decision to make. I received a written offer of a job that I had wanted and accepted the job. This means that I have to up-sticks from the comfort of my mother's home in Blackburn and move to Brighouse in West Yorkshire. Living on my own for the first time will certainly be life changing and I'm starting to notice the differences now before I've even moved in. The differences in the way you think about things, the way you look at spending money and opting to stay in watching the x factor, instead of going out and getting in a drunken state with your mates, just to save £50 so you can buy a microwave.
I guess with these life changing decisions comes sacrifices. But looking at the bigger picture, I reckon that in time I'll look back on that decision and still think it is the right one. Sometimes you have to forget about your worries and go out and try to achieve your goals no matter what it takes. I would rather die trying, than die knowing that I never tried at all.
